This morning, we all warmed up playing games during our PE time in the gym hall. Lots of great listening skills and team work resulted in great fun as we played games using the parachute!

Little Bits

We have been thinking about technology and the role it plays in our lives. Primary 4 had a go at creating some electrical circuits of their own, using 'Little Bits'. Working collaboratively, we had to use our problem solving skills to create a working electrical circuit. We were able to turn on lights and control them using a dimmer switch, make a buzzer ring and control the volume and even switch a fan on. Take a look at the photos which show a lot of great learning taking place!

Scotland

This term, Primary 4 are learning about Scotland. They will be sharing their knowledge about Scotland and finding out more by researching information. We have been talking about the different places in Scotland that we know about or have been to. We will be finding out more about our local area, its landscape and history.

Gardening

On our last day before the school closure, we went outside for a little bit of gardening. Spring time is a great time to tidy up outside. The raised bed in the playground was looking a little overgrown! Working together, we managed to clear the raised bed of all the weeds that had grown. Then we planted a variety of wildflower seeds. Maybe we will see them in full bloom later in the year! Good job Primary 4!
